About KAYA GUNERI V
Kaya Guneri V is a 40-metre wooden sailing yacht from Bodrum Shipyard, delivered in 2009 and based in Bodrum year-round. She sails under a Marconi rig with 700 square metres of Dacron, assisted by Harken winches. A roller-furling headsail adds ease and flexibility on longer passages; the yacht is configured for both sedate coasting and making brisk way between islands.
Twelve guests sleep in six cabins, looked after by a crew of seven. The saloon and every cabin feature SAT TV and access to a music library, while WiFi and Bluetooth sound supply a quiet evening or a steady party across the main deck. Time at anchor is well served by a 4.8-metre dinghy with a 100-horsepower Yamaha outboard and a jetski, with paddleboards and canoes for exploring further afield.
The charter area covers the Turkish and Greek Aegean — places Kaya Guneri V knows intimately, and where her hull and rig feel most at home.
